I'm the mother of four great kids and a bunch of even greater grandkids.  I have also been... a doctor for 40 years, a gardener for 50+ years, an artist, an author (see "Garden in the Sky" on Kindle),  and the  winner of the blue ribbon for the best cherry pie entered in the 2024 Ulster County Fair. Probably the only cherry pie that year, but they gave me the ribbon anyway.  

In the frosty middle of the pandemic of 2020, I took a deep breath and rented an Airbnb in the Hudson Valley with one of my dear daughters.  I loved the place and the experience, and remarked off-handedly that I'l love to try my hand at one myself.  Within seconds, my text thread lit up with Zillow links from her. When I arrived l at Lilac House the first time, I saw the bare branches of the  large shrubs all around me, and recognized them for the lilacs of my childhood.  I was smitten.  I've put a lot of thought into making this a real home for my family and other families and friends to share, not just a generic Airbnb. Yes, I come here often, my family and friends join me, and I love this place.  I think it shows.  Let me know if you agree.
