Lilac House's four bedrooms highlight the richness of the region: The Lake Room, with a seasonal view of Artist Lake, submerges you in the calm deep blue of repose. The "Twins' Room" is so named because of my conviciton that at some time in the last 130 years, a set of twins grew up sleeping here. (Why do I think this? No idea...). The art reflects the agricultural heritage of the area, and the farmhouse roots of Lilac House itself. Upstairs, nestled under the eaves, you will find two rooms, both with queen beds and fluffy down pillows and duvets. Each of these has room for a pack 'n' play if your baby comes with you to Lilac House. The first is the orchard room, with walls as red as the Valley's freshest apples and shades that take you to the orchards nearby in imagination. this bedroom also doubles as a quiet retreat from the downstairs excitement if you need to work-- with a computer monitor, keyboard, charging cables, and task lighting. The second is the deep green Forest room, with shades and bedding that evoke the mystery and vibrancy of the Catskill forests around you. Take your pick!
